  • 'A Simple Favor 2' (Pre-Production)

    Allson’s attachment to this sequel, also starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, was announced in March 2024. The film is scheduled to shoot in Italy in Spring 2024.

  • 'Miss You, Love You' (Post-Production)

    Announced January 2024. Shot in ABQ in February 2024. Jim Rash directed this drama that will also star Andrew Rannells.

    In the film, Allison will play a woman whose husband has passed away. With a funeral to plan and grieving to be done, she reaches out to her estranged son. He refuses to come home, choosing instead to send his personal assistant to help make the arrangements. The widow is forced to process her grief in the presence of a complete stranger.

  • 'Everything's Going to be Great' (Post-Production)

    Allison will be starring alongside Bryan Cranston in the 80s-set drama “Everything’s Going to be Great”. The script was penned by Allison’s longtime friend and ‘I, Tonya’ screenwriter, Steven Rogers and has been described as “a funny and sad valentine to big dreamers whose dreams won’t necessarily come true” and centers around a boy who “has always felt his life was headed in one direction: the theater”.

    The film is being directed by Jon S. Baird and will be produced by Amaze Film & Television in collaboration with Screen Arcade. Production is scheduled to begin in Canada on April 21 and run through May 25, 2023.

  • 'The Creator' (2023)

    Announced in January 2022, Allison plays Colonel Howell in Gareth Edwards’ sci-fi future-set tale where humans face off with AI Robots. The film also stars John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, and Marc Menchaca. (20th Century Studios)

  • 'The People We Hate at the Wedding' (2022)

    Announced in March 2021, and shot in London between September-October 2021, Allison plays the mother character Donna in this comedy about a dysfunctional family wedding. Also starring Ben Platt and Kristen Bell. Based on the book of the same name by Grant Ginder. (Amazon Prime Video)

  • 'To Leslie' (2022)

    Premiered at SXSW Film Festival on March 12, 2022. Wider release date for theater and on demand is October 7, 2022. Inspired by true events. A West Texas single mother wins the lottery and squanders it just as fast, leaving behind a world of heartbreak. Years later, with her charm running out and nowhere to go, she fights to rebuild her life and find redemption. Allison plays a supporting role of Nancy, a biker.   • 'Lou' (2022)

    This JJ Abrams action film written by Maggie Cohn and directed by Anna Foerster was shot in Vancouver between June - August 2021. Alongside Jurnee Smollett, Allison plays the title character in this story of a tough elderly woman living on a remote island who is recruited by a neighbor to help her find her kidnapped daughter.
