The Diplomat S3: Now Playing on Netflix
Allison was nominated for the 2025 SAG Award, Critics Choice Award and Golden Globe Award for her acclaimed role as Vice President / President Grace Penn.
Allison joined The Diplomat as Vice President Grace Penn in Season 2 which first streamed on October 31, 2024. Allison appears in the fifth & sixth episodes of Season 2 and continues in the role for Episodes 1, 3, 6 and 8 of Season 3. Casting news in January 2025 revealed that Bradley Whitford would be playing the role of Grace Penn’s husband, bringing a mini-West Wing reunion to The Diplomat. The show has been renewed for Season 4, upping Allison to a series regular role. Season 4 goes into production in November 2025.
